Saudi F4 Championship 2025 Opens in Bahrain with Two Races
The 2025 F4 Saudi Arabian Championship opens with two rounds in Bahrain before returning to Saudi Arabia. From October through December, fans can expect five pulse-pounding rounds at top circuits, including Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir and the daring Jeddah Corniche street track.
Bahrain Kicks Off the 2025 Season
The excitement starts in Bahrain, with the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship staging two inaugural races from October 10–12 (featuring a test day) and then again on October 15–16. The Bahrain International Circuit will set the stage for emerging talent to showcase their skills in the formidable Tatuus Abarth F4 G2 (T421) machine.
The Bahrain opener highlights the championship’s aim to expand across the Gulf and build its motorsport profile. It also gives drivers from across the region a universal stage to compete under consistent conditions and international scrutiny.
Jeddah Returns with Street-Track Showdowns
After the Bahrain leg, the series shifts to Jeddah, where the Corniche Circuit—famously one of the fastest street circuits globally—will host three rounds in November and December. Jeddah’s return ensures fans get both circuit racing and the high-speed unpredictability of a street track.
Twenty drivers will race identical Tatuus Abarth F4 G2 cars, putting the focus on driver skill over machinery. The F4 Saudi Arabian Championship is designed as a launch pad for young racers (15 years and above), bridging the gap from karting into the broader world of formula racing.
Motorsport leaders view the series as a platform for developing national talent. The CEO of the Saudi Motorsport Company has described it as “a strategic platform to empower Saudi youth… to hone their skills and become the drivers of the future.” With backing from the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, the championship also aims to build the technical, engineering, and operational infrastructure needed for a thriving motorsport ecosystem.
As part of Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia is pushing to become a regional motorsport powerhouse—hosting top-tier events under rigorous safety standards and norms. In line with that, ALTAWKILAT, a key automotive distributor and supporter of the series, is deeply invested in making racing accessible, both on the track and behind the scenes.
Famous F1 stars like Lando Norris, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, and Oscar Piastri all started their journeys in F4. The F4 Saudi Arabian Championship hopes to replicate that pathway—helping local racers dream big and compete globally.
