2026 Cayenne Electric: Porsche Unveils New All-Electric SUV

Cayenne Electric

The Cayenne Electric brings a new era to one of Porsche’s most successful models. Porsche calls it “the beginning of a new era for Porsche,” and the statement reflects the significance of this launch. For the first time, the Cayenne nameplate is fully electrified.

Both the standard Cayenne Electric and the high-performance Turbo version combine classic Porsche dynamics with next-generation EV technology. The result is a model that feels familiar yet forward-looking, built for drivers who want performance, comfort, and innovation.

Outstanding Electric Performance

Porsche delivers impressive performance across the Cayenne Electric lineup. The Turbo model produces up to 1,139 hp and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds, with a top speed of 162 mph. The standard version generates 402 hp in normal mode and up to 435 hp with Launch Control. It reaches 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and offers a top speed of 143 mph.

Charging is fast and convenient. Thanks to a 113 kWh high-voltage battery and an 800-volt system, the Cayenne can charge from 10% to 80% in under 16 minutes in ideal conditions. It supports up to 400 kW DC fast charging. For the first time in Porsche history, optional inductive wireless charging is available, offering new convenience for daily use of the Cayenne.

Comfort, Design, and Everyday Practicality

The Cayenne Electric stays true to its heritage of comfort and utility. It is 55 mm longer than the gas-powered model, improving rear seat space. Storage is generous. It offers 781 to 1,588 liters of rear cargo room plus a 90-liter front trunk. When properly equipped, it can tow up to 3.5 tons.
The design blends Porsche identity with electric refinement.

Highlights include a low hood line, sleek Matrix Design LED headlights, frameless doors, and aerodynamic elements that deliver a remarkable 0.25 drag coefficient. These features give the vehicle a clean, modern, and athletic appearance.

Smarter, More Connected, and Ready to Order

Inside, the Cayenne features Porsche’s most extensive display system ever. The curved OLED central screen is a standout, and an optional 14.9-inch passenger display adds even more functionality. The new AI-powered Voice Pilot assistant handles navigation and vehicle functions through natural voice commands. Customers can order the Cayenne Electric now.

Porsche Cayenne Electric Price

Prices start at $109,000 for the base model and $163,000 for the Turbo version, excluding taxes and delivery fees.

Deliveries are expected to begin in late summer 2026. Porsche will continue offering combustion engines and plug-in hybrids alongside the new electric lineup, ensuring the Cayenne family remains versatile.

The 2026 Cayenne Electric marks a significant step forward for Porsche. It brings together performance, technology, and innovation, setting a bold direction for the future of this iconic SUV.
